See the progression of the painting: Prairie Crocus
See these flower emerge through the painting process! As one of the first blooms after a long winter, I wanted to show the crocus pushing up through golden grasses and pushing back the cold of winter. This resilient flower is a quiet promise of warmer days to come. Just close your eyes and feel that first warm of spring.
